  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Place the fish on a piece of foil (large enough to cover and seal the fish). Rub both sides of the fish with olive oil and sprinkle the spices onto both sides of the fish. Rub the spices in to ensure the flavor penetrates. Ensure the fish fully coated with spices and add additional if needed to ensure optimal flavor.
  • Seal the foil around the fish.
  • Place in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  • You can tell it's done when it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees. The fish should also be flaky. Gently press the thickest part of the fish using a fork. If it flakes easily, it is done.

Notes

If you aren’t using foil you can use parchment paper.
Butter can be substituted for olive oil.
Feel free to season the fish with whatever spices you wish.
You can double/triple the recipe with no adjustment to temperature.
