Nobu Miso  Black Cod

This Nobu Miso Black Cod includes the famous marinade from Chef Nobu Matsuhisa!  It is tender flaky perfection 👉


– Sake – White miso paste – Mirin  – Sweetener or sugar – Black cod/sablefish – Unsalted butter *all ingredients listed below

Step 1

Make the marinade as directed. Add additional sweetener to suit your taste if needed.

Step 2

Place the fish in a shallow bowl or a zip log bag. Pat the fish dry and add the marinade to the fish.

Step 3

Cover the bowl with wrap or foil or seal the zip lock and place the fish in the fridge. Marinate as directed.

Step 4

When the butter has melted, on the heated skillet, add the marinated fish to the pan with the fish skin side up.

Step 5

Place the fish in the oven and bake for 6-9 minutes.
