Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Pasta

This Creamy Cajun Shrimp & Sausage Pasta recipe is made with some of the classic Southern Louisiana Holy Trinity ingredients!👉

Ingredients

–  linguine pasta – olive oil  – raw shrimp  – Cajun Seasoning  – andouille sausage  – chopped red peppers – chopped green peppers *all ingredients listed below

Step 1

Follow the instructions on the packaging for how to cook the pasta.

Step 2

Place the shrimp in a bowl along with Cajun or Creole Seasoning. Mix to ensure the shrimp is fully coated.

Step 3

Heat a skillet. Add olive oil. When hot, add the shrimp to the pan. Cook & remove the shrimp & set aside.

Step 4

Add an additional teaspoon of olive oil to the pan along with chopped sausage, onions, green peppers, & red peppers.

Step 5

Saute. Remove the vegetables from the pan & set aside.

Step 6

Reduce the heat on the pan. Add butter. Add in heavy cream, almond milk, cream cheese, Cajun or Creole Seasoning & Parmesan Reggiano Cheese.

Step 7

 Continue to stir the sauce until all of the cheese has fully melted.

Step 8

Serve.
