Pan Seared Shrimp with Lemon Butter

This Pan Seared Shrimp recipe will show you how to pan fry shrimp in a hot skillet on the stove. This dish is seasoned with herbs & spices & drizzled in a homemade lemon butter sauce. Serve this with any of your favorite side dishes.👉


– raw shrimp  – lemon pepper seasoning – smoked paprika – salt to taste – cooking oil  – unsalted butter – fresh lemon juice *all ingredients listed below

Step 1

Add the butter, lemon juice, & lemon zest to a saucepan on medium-high heat. Stir & cook until the lemon zest has dissolved.

Step 2

Ensure the shrimp is completely dry.

Step 3

Sprinkle both sides of the shrimp with lemon pepper, paprika & salt to taste. Rub the spices into the shrimp.

Step 4

Add 1 tbs of cooking oil or butter to a skillet on medium-high heat.

Step 5

When hot, add the seasoned shrimp. Do not overcrowd the pan. The shrimp shouldn’t touch.

Step 6

Cook the shrimp for 2-3 mins on each side until the shrimp is cooked through.

Step 7

Top the shrimp with the lemon butter glaze.
