Blackened Catfish

The crispy blackened crust is made using the best spices. This is an easy recipe to get a taste of Louisiana. 👉


–  smoked paprika  –  cayenne pepper  –  oregano –  onion powder –  catfish or white fish *all ingredients listed below

Step 1

Dry the fish completely.

Step 2

Combine the blackened spices in a bowl & sprinkle the spices over the fish & rub them in.

Step 3

Heat a cast iron or stainless-steel skillet on medium-high heat. Add butter.

Step 4

When the butter has melted, add the fish to the pan.

Step 5

Cook on each side until the fish is cooked through.
