Creamy Crab Bisque

This Easy Creamy Crab Bisque recipe is rich & indulgent making it perfect for special occasions & nights in.👉


–  unsalted butter –  all-purpose flour –  chopped carrots –  chopped celery –  chopped onions –  garlic cloves  – Seafood Stock *all ingredients listed below

Step 1

Heat a Dutch oven or soup pot on medium heat & add butter.

Step 2

When melted, add in flour. This will create a roux.

Step 3

Add celery, onions & carrots to the roux & stir.

Step 4

Add garlic. Cook until the garlic is fragrant.

Step 5

Pour in seafood stock, heavy cream, milk, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, Old Bay Seasoning, salt & pepper to taste & stir.

Step 6

Use an immersion hand blender to puree & smooth out the soup. Alternatively, you can transfer the soup to a high-powered blender.

Step 7

Blend the soup until creamy & smooth. Add the crab meat to the pot.
